History

Lebanon Divers (LD) has been providing scuba training and dive tours for over ten years.
Christian Francis (1992 Olympiad) owner of Lebanon Divers has certified more than a thousand divers up to instructor level since founding the company. The dive centre provides training to all levels and offers extensive equipment choices for retail.

LD is one of two first Padi dive centers in Lebanon, first to introduce SSI, first to hold instructor training courses & certifications ever to be given by Lebanese national,
first to introduce Nitrox, accelerated O2 decompression & mixed gas diving to Lebanon in 1994 with ANDI (American Nitrox Divers International).
First to explore, dive and map Enfeh Blue Holes in 1996.
LD planned, researched, financed Project Victoria and finally discovered HMS Victoria on 22nd of June 2004.

The future holds for us the greatest opportunity of all: further exploration of probably the best wreck in the world, HMS Victoria. We will also continue researching the Enfeh Blue Holes, deepening our understanding of all its ramifications. Our general aim is to put Lebanon on the world map for divers, making it a top destination.

Dive center

The dive center is located in Las Salinas Beach Resort, Enfeh, North Lebanon.
Lebanon Divers have three dive boats, taking divers everyday, both near and far to explore the stunning aqua-scapes. Three large air compressors allow groups the flexibility to dive to their own schedule, up to three times per day.

Dive center equipment:
Open center console dive boat, 12 m., twin turbo-diesel engines, 2x330 h.p., top 35 kts.
Two inflatables, Sillinger UM 580, capacity up to 10 divers
Three compressors 1x Bauer KAP 20, 1x Bauer V 20, 1 x Poseidon P 225
Trimix and Nitrox filling panel (L&W)
Steel manifolded twin sets, 5 x 15l. + 2 x 10l.
Aluminum manifolded twin sets, 5 x 12l.
Aluminium deco tanks, 24 x 11l.
Recreational scuba sets x 6

LDs are Lebanon's sole distributor of following dive gear manufacturers: Mares, Suunto, Poseidon, Gates, Otter dry suits.

Facilities available in Las Salinas: hotel, marina, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, 4 movie theaters, fitness and health club, bowling, table tennis, sauna, 1 restaurant, 1 snack, etc.
